The Game Awards is an annual award show that recognizes and upholds creative and technical excellence in the global video game and esports industry. Twitter is a consistent hub where conversations around gaming take place regardless of the game or console. Twitter is not only a sponsor of The Game Awards, but also celebrates conversations held on the platform with an award category for Gaming Tweet Of The Year. The brand partnered with BeCore to provide hospitality for the Gaming Tweet Of The Year nominees and to create an engaging footprint inside of The Game Awards event that would generate buzz on and off the platform.

Swag Boxes
After the 2019 Gaming Tweet Of The Year nominees were announced, each nominee received @TwitterGaming branded swag boxes. Items included travel accessories and stylish apparel customized with nominees’ @handles so they’d be ready to travel in style to the Awards.
White Glove Hospitality
On behalf of Twitter, the nominees received an all expenses paid trip to attend The Game Awards. This included a round trip flight to Los Angeles, an upscale hotel stay, meals/beverages, private airport car services, and a custom welcome gift.
2019 Gaming Tweet Of The Year 
Upon arrival at The Game Awards, nominees and their guests were taken through the full VIP red carpet experience. The Twitter Gaming trophy display was the star of the event entrance, which showcased a levitating cube of the tweets of the year. Then it was show time at The Game Awards!
